Sunderland Leather Co., Inc. specializes in deerskin leather. Deerskin has a soft rich feel and is primarily used for making garments, gloves, footwear, handbags and crafts. The average size of a deerskin is between seven and eleven square feet and 0.6-2.0 millimeters thick.

We offer our deerskin in both grain and split leather; grain being the outer part of the skin (hair side) and the split resulting from the shaving of the skins to uniform thickness also known as suede, the inner part of the skin.

We offer deerskin in crust/pearl/stain, grain or split leather, shoe weight or glove weight, water resistant and washable leathers.

Sunderland Leather is not limited to deerskin; we also offer bison, goat, cow, moose, elk and horse leathers. Our leather is custom selected, split or shaved to your exact thickness and colored to your specifications. We offer every customer both quality and service, whether for garment, glove, shoe, handbag, craft or upholstery.
